• About ME

Hey, I'm Michael... I write movies.

I'm an award-winning screenwriter based out of New York City. My first produced feature film, "The Suicide Theory" won the Audience Award at the 2014 Austin Film Festival as well as the Grand Jury Prize (Best Picture) at the Dances With Films Festival in Hollywood. After a brief theatrical release and a three-year run on Netflix, "The Suicide Theory" is now available to watch on Amazon Prime, Itunes, Google Play, Vudu, Youtube and DVD. It sits at 79% on Rotten Tomatoes.

My second produced feature film, "Rage", a crime-thriller, premieres in Melbourne, Australia March 2020 and will be making its rounds in the film festival circuit, 2020. "The Black Pill", (suspense-drama) my 3rd feature film, shoots in Melbourne, Australia Summer 2020 with Prima Lux Films. And my mumble-core horror feature, "They Never Left" is currently in development with Abandoned House Productions in New York City.

    Need Help With Your Script?

My background includes 15+ years of screenwriting. Though many of my works are original specs that I've either sold or optioned, I've also written for hire numerous times, including for my second produced feature film, "Rage".  I also have experience working as a script consultant and script doctor, even providing writers with coverage for both short length and feature length scripts. Whether it was just a simple script polish or full, page-one rewrite, I've helped writers, producers and filmmakers from all over the world get their screenplays into production-ready shape, helping to ensure that each of their stories have reached their full potential.

If you believe your screenplay needs to be polished, doctored or needs a page-one rewrite (I also do coverage), then contact me at spesh2k@msn.com. My fees are reasonable, affordable and flexible. Contact me today for a quote - I'll work with you on a fee that's reasonable for your budget, whether your screenplay is short or feature length.
